5th Annual Poker Run
We don't know where to begin with all the thank you's, 1st my wife for putting up with all the crap and hard work it takes to pull this off. The Sentinels put in a lot of long hard hours and worked all day during the event. Thanks for the Guys and Gals who helped the Road Captains that kept us safe. Again, thank you all, I will let you know the totals as soon as I have them.
-- Thanks, Mark Littlejohn.

Mark Littlejohn's Christmas in July event is an important event for the organization that has raised over $106,000.00 in cash and over $300,000.00 in-kind to date in its first 4 years alone. This event has not incurred any administrative or organizational fees throughout its tenure.

We use the money raised to fulfill the needs of several programs, not for operational needs. In the past the money has been used to purchase books for the men's rehab program, patio swings for the senior housing program, sending kids to summer camp, and providing Halloween costumes for children living at the family shelter. It has also provided milk and diapers to the shelter. The money raised by the event has purchased Saturday lunch for 38 seniors throughout the year as well as family lunches and dinners. It has provided school backpacks for 500+ children each year. Part of the finances goes toward a delicious & nutritious breakfast for the 300+ children who get to shop for school clothes each year.
